The player character of Ensemble Girls!.
A Second year high school student who transfers to the previously all-girls Kimisaki Academy. The younger brother of "Angie", a previous Kimisaki Academy student who led a failed rebellion against the antagonists of the series. He's a plain, yet kind guy who cares about everyone equally, but likes to tease his childhood friend Natsumi Minami, who has a crush on him. He doesn't like to talk about his sister, as he resents her for being stuck in her shadow.
Ensemble Stars! reveals that the Protagonist's older sister is actually Anzu.
At the end of the game, he becomes the boyfriend of Natsumi, thus breaking the time loop the students of Kimisaki had been caught in since the beginning of the game.
