phantasy star ii

ファンタシースターII 還らざる時の終わりに ファンタシースター2

Phantasy Star II (Fantashī Sutā Tsū Kaerazaru Toki no Owari ni, translated as Phantasy Star II: The End of the Lost Age) is the second video game in the four Phantasy Star science fiction and fantasy RPG game series for the Sega Mega Drive/Sega Genesis home console by SEGA. It was released in march 1989.

The game's plot is set 1,000 years after the events of Phantasy Star I.

While considered to be very difficult, it is also hailed as revolutionary for its time (released in 1989, one of the very first 16-bit console RPGs), as it introduced the dramatic concept of the on-screen (and permanent) death of a major female character, as well as an "open" ending where the heroes' survival is left uncertain.
