peeling

Can imply one of two things:

1. Using a peeler or knife to remove the exterior inedible skin from a tuber vegetable such as a carrot or potato; using a similar tool to remove the exterior skin of an apple in a rotating motion; or using bare hands to remove the inedible rind of an orange.
2. Slowing removing clothing that has been adhered to a character, such as pasties.
