patchwork clothes

Clothes created from various pieces or scraps of fabric being sewn together. Could be intended design choice or the result of the person not having sufficient fabric to make their clothes from one cloth, often an indicator in art of poverty.

Note that "patchwork clothes" implies that patching either makes up the clothes entierly or a very significant part of the clothes. If there is only a few patches on the clothes use patch instead.
