paolo cassius

A fictional character from the Gundam mechaverse. He first appeared in the Mobile Suit Gundam anime TV series from 1979 and also appears in the last episode of the Mobile Suit Gundam The Origin OVA released in 2018.

Paolo Cassius is the original veteran captain of the Earth Federation Space Forces White Base mobile suit space carrier. He is gravely wounded during a Zeon attack early in the series, so he relegates command of the ship to novice officer Bright Noa.
