overalls

A garment originally used as protective clothing. It consists of a bib, suspenders, and an attached lower garment, such as pants, shorts, or a skirt. It is usually made of blue denim and worn either with shirts or with nothing underneath.

Not to be confused with suspender pants, suspender shorts and suspender skirt.
