odysseus (mythology)
A hero from Greek Mythology. Also the name of a fictional spacecraft.
Odysseus is the legendary Greek king of Ithaca and a hero of Homer's epic adventure poem, The Odyssey.
In Roman Mythology his name was changed to "Ulysses", which is his Latin name.
