A Puppet Digimon whose cape flutters as it wanders gallantly across the Digital World. While it is dressed in attire similar to a medieval knight, its appearance is the epitome of a cat walking on two legs. Although it does not come across as very dignified due to its pompous way of speaking and overdramatic actions, it is actually brimming with a passionate sense of justice, and has a starkly contrasting personality that never condones wrongdoing.

Using its gravity-manipulating platform boots, it travels throughout the Digital World as if it is flying about, and goes around resolving problems using its cherished sword, the "Nekojara Sword".

Its combat strength is high despite having a short build. It makes sport of the enemy with its nimble movements and peculiar sword techniques that trace out mysterious paths. The way it skillfully defeats its enemies makes it truly heroic, and there are many Digimon who look up to Nyabootmon.

Its Special Moves are utilizing its gravity manipulation to jump up high, and then delivering an intense kick as it rapidly descends (Graviton Neko Kick), unleashing a high-speed sword technique where it dives at the opponent's chest in one leap (Carabas Special), and bewitching the opponent with its elegant sword and body movements, and dishing out nine slashes in an instant (Hiken: Cat the Nine Lives).
