Parody of a scene from the prologue of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.
The scene revolves a first person view of Venom Snake when he is told by the doctor that he has recently recovered from a 9-year coma and the situation during his absence is explained. When Snake panics upon hearing the revelation, the doctor tries to calm him down before forcefully injecting an anesthetic to silence him.
7 years after the game's release, this scene suddenly triggered a meme in Japan in February 2022. It is mainly used to show that something has (or has not) happened in the last several years (e.g. "During the 4 years you've been in a coma, HUNTER×HUNTER still hasn’t started up again.")
