The logo of NASA, the United States' National Aeronautics and Space Administration. NASA has three official logos, colloquially known as the NASA seal, the "meatball", the "worm".
The seal depicts a yellow planet with an orbital around it and a red v-shaped wing atop it, above a starry background. The full title "National Aeronautics and Space Administration" circles the image with USA written on the bottom.
The "meatball" is a simplified version of the seal, replacing the yellow planet with the word "NASA" and removing the words around the seal.
The "worm" depicts the name NASA in a stylized red font. It was retired in 1992, but was brought back as a secondary NASA logo in 2020.
