nagimaki

A Japanese hybrid sword/spear weapon. The nagimaki resembles the naginata, but has a much shorter shaft that is about the same length as the blade. Historically, it is known as the favorite weapon of Oda Nobunaga, though most modern fictional depictions of him use other weapons.
