meiner grand (racehorse)

Japanese racehorse. Sired by Gold Ship and foaled by Meine Nouvelle (this makes him a younger brother to Meine Theresia and thus, an uncle to Uberleben).

While he started as an unfortunate runner on flat, his fortune changed when he switched to steeple-chase. He won his first race and eventually became unbeaten in 2023, culminating in his crushing victory at the 2023 Nakayama Daishogai. He thus became Gold Ship's second progeny to obtain a G1 title of some form.
