Mecha Chihaya is a fan persona of Kisaragi Chihaya from Idolmaster, which was created in response to the character's staccato singing in the song "Ohayou! Asagohan" sounding quite robotic. She is depicted as wearing a head-mounted display / headphones combo, and is sometimes clearly portrayed as an android or cyborg.
