Mayfael is the ninth-ranked member of the Nine Heavenly Knights, an elite group within the Order of Valkyrie faction. Her epithet is The Guardian Gun, and Procyon is her retainer.

Possessing a playful, but somewhat airheaded, personality, Mayfael is assigned by Azuel as Ikusabe Tokisada's bodyguard, possessing unparalelled defensive capabilities.
