Modification of the M16 assault rifle with a new barrel profile to allow mounting of the M203 grenade launcher, along with other changes such as three fire modes (semi-auto, three-round burst and full-auto).

This tag is also applicable to the M16A3 variant that has only semi and full-auto mode.
