Edalyn Clawthorne suffers from a curse that turns her into an uncontrolled bird-beast. By confronting this curse within her mind, understanding it, and coming to terms with it, Edalyn was able to control it, gaining a new transformation into a humanoid form while retaining her senses. She named this form "Harpy."

Her sister Lilith, who decided to share the curse to reduce its effects, also acquired the ability to control it and, with it, her own harpy form.
