Anti-tank lance
lance (senjou no valkyria)
A category of man-portable heavy projectile weapons used in the Valkyria Chronicles series of games. They normally played the role as an anti-tank weapon and were designed to launch anti-tank rockets. Mortar versions also existed for anti-infantry roles, usually visually identifiable by the grenade-like projectile they use compared to the cone-shaped rockets of the anti-tank lances. The weapons were most commonly shaped like traditional melee lances, especially those used by the Empire and the Principality of Gallia. Federation lances did not share the lance-like appearance of the other game factions.
