lady (devil may cry)

The Walking Arsenal, Lady

A female character first introduced in Devil May Cry 3. Real name Mary Ann Arkham.
She renounces her name after her mother's death at the hands of her father Arkham, becoming a demon hunter.

Dante nicknames her Lady as she refuses to give him a name to call her by, she then later takes this nickname as her new name.
Seeing Dante shed tears over the loss of his brother she coins the phrase "devil may cry" which inspired him to use as the name of his business.

She is fully human and has no demonic power and so fights mainly with guns and explosives. Her signature weapon is a rocket launcher bearing the name of her deceased mother.
