kurapika

One of the main characters from Hunter x Hunter.

A Blacklist Hunter and member of the Kurta Clan, being the only remaining member so far, Kurapika vows to avenge his fallen clan by destroying the Phantom Troupe after the latter massacred his clan for their "Scarlet Eyes", thus being his ultimate goal in becoming a Hunter.

He is usually calm, smart, and reticent, but becomes more wrathful and callous when threatened, attributing to his tragic past. This makes him impulsive sometimes, despite doing so for the sake of protecting his friends and avenging his clan.

Voiced by Hidaka Noriko (Pilot OVA), Kaida Yuki (1999), Sawashiro Miyuki (2011), and Erika Harlacher (2011; EN).

Appearance

Kurapika has an androgynous appearance. He is a short blonde haired young man with brown eyes which turn scarlet red in some occasions. His outfit is usually a tabard with reddish hem and a white shirt and pants. His footwear is a blue-colored flats.
