One of five beach landing sectors designated for the amphibious assault component of D-Day during World War II, falling under the responsibility of primarily the Canadian Army.

Despite delays due to bad weather, and heavy resistance due to the pre-landing bombardment being less effective than anticipated, the Canadian Army managed to push the farthest inland than any other landing force on D-Day.
