Jang Hayoung is an androgynous young adult with short blonde hair and blue eyes. She wears loose, casual clothing like a generic collared shirt. Hayoung is a girl, though she doesn't mind being referred to as a boy. She is described in the main works as neither feminine nor masculine looking, and can pass for either, although art often depicts her facial structure more masculine.
