A character from the TV series Dexter played by Erik King.

A former US Army Ranger who now works as a Police Detective for the Miami Police, Doakes has a major dislike with the main protagonist Dexter Morgan, who finds his eccentric nature and seeming love of blood creepy and weird. While mostly ignoring Dexter in the beginning, Doakes becomes suspicious of Dexter after several clues and correctly suspects Dexter is the notorious serial killer vigilante, The Bay Harbor Butcher.

Doakes is famous for two memes: his catchphrase "Surprise Motherfucker!" which he says after he catches Dexter trying to open a shipping container during the 1st season finale of the show and in 2025 due to the release of the new Dexter: Resurrection series, "Suspicious Doakes", where he is looking at people suspiciously and correctly guess the truth (eg.suspects Clark Kent is Superman but has no proof).
