The titular main character of the series of the same name. He is a secret agent for the British Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) as part of their double-o agents program (thus his codename - 007).

Throughout the James Bond movies, the character has been played by several actors including Sean Connery (1962–1967, 1971, 1983), David Niven (1967), George Lazenby (1969), Roger Moore (1973–1985), Timothy Dalton (1987–1989), Pierce Brosnan (1995–2002) and Daniel Craig (2006–2021).
