How I Met Your Mother was a American sitcom that aired from September 19, 2005, to March 31, 2014 for 9 seasons. The show follows Ted Mosby, who narrates to his children in the year 2030 about he and his friends life including how he met their mother from September 2005 to May 2013.

The show had a spin-off titled How I Met Your Father, which follows Sophie Tompkins in the year 2050 where she narrates to her son on how she met his father in 2022. The show only aired for two seasons from January 18, 2022 to July 11, 2023 before being cancelled.
