horse racing
A sport where horses and their jockeys race to be fastest to run a set distance over a horse racing track.
Often times it is associated with gambling, especially in Japan where the sport is more or less state sanctioned (either through the Japan Racing Association (JRA) or the National Association of Racing (NAR).
