high-ended braid

The opposite of low-braided long hair, where the braid ends higher than usual and takes up less than half of the hair length, leaving more of the hair hanging loose.

Not to be confused with french braided ponytail and french braided twintails. French braids are hair braided on the scalp, it's normal for them to end under the scalp.
