Saint Heim is the leader of the Twelve Crusaders who liberated Jugdral from the tyranny of Emperor Gair and the Loptrian Church. He entered a blood bond with Naga and gained her power through the Book of Naga, which has since been passed down to his descendants. After personally slaying Emperor Gair XVII, the vessel of Loptous at the time, following the Miracle of Dahna, he founded the Kingdom of Grannvale and became its first king; Crusaders Baldr, Fjalar, Ullr, Nál, Thrúd and Bragi would serve as his vassals, leading Grannvale's duchies in service to the crown.
