hatsune miku (nt)

Hatsune Miku NT (New Type) is the first voicebank for Hatsune Miku using the Piapro Studio engine, succeeding her previous voicebank with the VOCALOID engine, Hatsune Miku V4X.

Continuing from V4X, her design is once again illustrated by iXima, with help from rella.

As before, she has her signature aqua twintails, white sleeveless shirt with black detached sleeves, pleated miniskirt, and thighhighs. Her NT design has been updated with thicker hair, a second layer of inner detached sleeves, and a neck ribbon instead of necktie. Her hair ornaments are thick and circular like her V4 Chinese design, albeit smaller. Her clothes also have a wave theme.

This voicebank was initially announced in August 2019 along with the fact that Crypton would no longer be collaborating with the VOCALOID engine and instead using their own in-house engine, Piapro Studio. However, on August 1st, 2024, Crypton announced that they would be returning to the VOCALOID engine with Miku's next voicebank being Hatsune Miku V6 AI.
