hair pulled back
A character's hair is pulled back, usually into a ponytail or hair bun, revealing their forehead. The hair is usually tight against the scalp.
Not to be confused with bangs pinned back, where it's only the bangs, grabbing another's hair, an action, or hair slicked back, where the hair is held back by a styling product such as mousse or pomade.
