hai chi (azur lane)

海圻(アズールレーン) 海圻

The personification of the Imperial Chinese Navy protected cruiser Hai Chi in Azur Lane.

Historically, she and her sister ship Hai Tien were the largest ships China had for several decades (compare their 4,300 tons while Ning Hai had a displacement of 2,500 tons). She was originally commissioned in 1899 and served until 1937 when she was scuttled to slow down the Japanese advance down the Yangtze towards Wuhan.

In Azur Lane, she and her sister Hai Tien are reclassed as light cruisers to conform to existing gameplay ship types.
