A 7.92×57mm Mauser semi-automatic rifle developed by Nazi Germany during World War II. It was a modification of the earlier Gewehr 41, using an improved gas system similar to that of the Soviet SVT-40. Its feed system is removable 10-round magazine, and can also be reloaded without removing it by using two 5-round stripper clips from the top. Over 400,000 units were produced between 1943-1945.
