getter robo (classic)

The original Getter Robo manga and anime series, created by Ishikawa Ken and Nagai Gou. Both the anime and manga premiered in April 1974 and ran until August 1975.

Despite running alongside each other, the manga and anime are vastly different. The Toei anime features a more family friendly episodic format, while the manga tells a continuous story and features more graphic violence.
