Produced by Tatsunoko Production, Genesis Climber Mospeada: Genesis Breaker is a side story set in the original Kikou Souseiki Mospeada TV series timeline.
Aramaki Shinji and Kakinuma Hideki (Bubblegum Crisis, Armitage III, Gall Force, Junk Force), main staff of the original 80s series, returned as mechanical designers for the new project.
Genesis Breaker was serialized in Hobby JAPAN magazine with a story written by Kakinuma that is parallel to the events of the original series.
In accordance with the launch of the new project, Tokyo-based toy/figure manufacturer Sentinel company released a 1/12 action figure of a new ride armor design for the series.
