foreshortening

透视收缩

A technique in which an object is depicted at an angle, making it appear shorter than its actual size. This captures the distortion seen when viewing an object at an unusual angle.

Not to be confused with depth of field, which refers to blurry, out-of-focus portions of an image. An image can contain both, but not necessarily.

Poorly done foreshortening may result in bad perspective.
