ford mustang (1st generation)

The original Ford Mustang, produced from 1964 to 1973. It had one of the most successful launches of a Ford vehicle, and is credited as the namesake for the "pony car" segment of muscle cars.

During it's 9 year run, the original Mustang saw several minor changes and the introduction of various different body styles, including convertibles and the iconic Fastback styling.

The base model could be upgraded into the high-performance Shelby GT500.
