focus viewfinder
A visual element in a camera UI used to indicate focus, frequently incorporating one or both of the following features:
- Rectangular, or corner bracket indicator(s) (
[ ]) framing the primary subject (often centered on a character's face). - A central crosshair or plus sign (
[+]) marking the focal midpoint.
