Upotte's depiction of the FN FNC, an 1980s era assault rifle developed to compete with the American M16. The FNC was developed into the AK5, a cold-weather optimized rifle.

FNC is slightly lewd, impish and slightly tsundere. She is the main character of the Upotte manga.

She wears the standard white-green school uniform. She also wears a T-back thong instead of traditional panties, as FNC's stock is skeletal, which the artist thought looked like a thong.
