An action role-playing game developed by Square Enix for the PlayStation 4. The game is a full remake of the original Final Fantasy VII first released in 1997.
The remake is a multi-part series, the first installment of which is focused on the Midgar section of the original game. The first game in the series was released in April 2020. It would be followed up by Final Fantasy VII Rebirth in February 2024, and Final Fantasy VII Revelation in Spring 2027.
