fantastic four (1967 tv series)

宇宙忍者ゴームズ

1967 Hanna-Barbera cartoon based on the Fantastic Four. In Japan, it was known as "Uchuu Ninja Golmes", with the Fantastic Four being the "Uchuu Ninja Shiningumi" (宇宙忍者四人組, Space Ninja Quartet) and Golmes referring to Reed Richards' name in the dub (derived from 'gomu', referring to his rubber body, and 'Holmes'). The remaining Fantastic Four also had different names, with Sue Storm being called Susie, Johnny Storm being called Fireboy, and Ben Grimm being called Gunlock [with his catchphrase becoming 'Monsieur Muramura!', a signature of seiyuu Seki Keiroku]).

The villains were famously handled by comedians, with Doctor Doom (known here as Akuma Hakase/Dr. Demon) speaking in Nagoyaben.
