Fanlingshan is an undergarment worn next to the skin by a woman. It was made from a single layer of plain-weave cotton cloth. The garment adopts a *jiaoling* style, where the collar crosses and overlaps on the front (creating a "y" shape). The sleeves are wide and short, and the hem is rounded. Two sets of thin ties are sewn onto the lapels for fastening. The garment measures 55 cm in length, with a total sleeve span of 66.5 cm. It was excavated from the tomb of Lady Wu, the wife of the Prince of Ningjing, in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province, China, and is now in the collection of the Chinese Jiangxi Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology.
