famae saf

An open bolt submachine gun of Chilean origin, produced and manufactured by FAMAE (Fábricas y Maestranzas del Ejército) since 1993. Its design is based on a shortened SIG SG540 assault rifle, featuring a stamped metal and a side-folded stock. Available in 9×19mm Parabellum and .40 S&W.
