fairy kei
A j-fashion style derived from the broader yume kawaii movement, also known in Japan as "Fancy". The style is based around children's pop culture from the 1980s, and primarily uses soft color palettes and flowy fabric.
Common motifs include unicorns, stars, polka dots, confetti, and teddy bears. Tutu skirts made of soft tulle are commonly worn, as well as oversized clothes, hair bows, and accessories with stuffed animals. 80's brands such as My Little Pony (G1), Care Bears and Rainbow Brite are frequently incorporated.
The style's representative brand is SPANK!.
