faceless
A character whose facial features (mainly the eyes) don't appear, either because they're hidden, covered, in shadow, or not drawn at all.
This is commonly used for characters meant to be viewer self-inserts, or for anonymous background characters (such as crowds of people). It can also be used when a character is extremely embarrassed or flustered, or when a character is completely unamused or has predatory intentions.
If the character literally doesn't have a face (not just due to artistic style or concealed features, e.g. Slender Man), use hole in face, void face, or some combination of no eyes, no nose, or no mouth. If the character's whole face is shaded but their eyes are still visible, uses eyes in shadow instead.
If a secondary character's head isn't in frame at all, use out of frame. If their gender is indiscernible, use ambiguous gender.
