f-86 sabre
The North American F-86 "Sabre" is a swept-wing fighter jet known for its role in the Korean War, battling the MiG-15 for air superiority in Mig Alley, and its subsequent participation in the 1958 Taiwan Straits crisis and 1965 Indo-Pakistani War.
The Sabre was one of the first post-war military jets to have swept wings. Powered by a single non-afterburning engine, it was armed with six .50-caliber machine guns (three on each side of the nose) and could also carry rockets and bombs, including nuclear weapons.
