event follow-up

A chain of illustrations following the progress of an event, usually the release of an anime. The opposite of countdown illustrations. For animes, these often follow the release of each individual episode. Might be followed by an ending celebration.

These illustrations should always be parented or pooled.

For a single standalone illustration celebrating the generic release of the series, use release celebration instead.

Often posted by official accounts or official artists as a way of promotion.

Chronological order

  • announcement celebration
  • countdown
  • release celebration
