emperor (arknights)

A non-playable character in Arknights, one of the Beast Lords.

He is an emperor penguin who appears to be minimally anthropomorphic. Despite this, he can talk, as well as hold and fire a handgun (though his preferred sidearm is fake and only fires rubber bullets.)

He typically wears a white beanie, sunglasses, multiple gold necklaces, and a T-shirt depicting Tupac Shakur—spelled "Topac" on the shirt and in the game script, presumably to avoid legal issues.

Judging by his coloration and build, he is in fact a king penguin, not an emperor penguin.

He is both a world-famous rapper and hip-hop producer known as "the rap god of Columbia", and the CEO and founder of Penguin Logistics. He is also frequently depicted alongside Magallan in fanart due to her penguin motif and the in-game lore revealing that the two are good friends.

The Emperor is voiced by Tsuda Kenjirou, while his English singing voice is done by American rapper Substantial.
