Ambiguous terms that can mean some of the following:

• Doll
• A small 4-wheeled frame or platform used to move heavy objects. Also known as a furniture dolly or piano dolly.
• A camera dolly: A wheeled platform for supporting and moving a camera, especially a television or motion-picture camera. May be large enough to also carry a camera operator along with the camera.
• A platform truck: a commonly 4-wheeled platform with a handle for moving objects, such as boxes. Also known as a platform trolley, platform cart, or platform cart dolly.
• A hand truck: an L-shaped handcart with handles at one end, wheels at the base, with a small ledge to set objects such as boxes on. It uses leverage to balance its weight upon the wheels. Also known as a utility dolly, appliance dolly, sack barrow, and sack truck.
