Fleurdelis is the mentor of Ecclesia in the Abyss Storyline contained in the Duel Monster lore. Their knight-and-squire bond has lasted for more than 10 years. She was corrupted by Maximus into one of the Despias, but turned into the Iris Swordsoul after being purified by the Icejades.

While the card art of this form depicts her in full armor, this tag can also be applied to Fleurdelis in her normal costume in the artwork of "The Virtuous Vestals" token card.
