Science Fiction 1960's manga created by Ishinomori Shoutarou which has adaptations of 3 movies, (2 from 1960s and one from 1980s), 3 anime and 2 CGI anime movies.

The story follows 9 individuals from different countries captured by the evil organization led by the Black Ghost and transformed into cyborgs in order to be used as war weapons. however, a kind scientist named Dr. Isaac Gilmore free them and so they all, led by Shimamura Joe (Cyborg 009) fight for justice in an attempt to defeat the Black Skull and prevent a possible war.
