cross-laced cutout

Clothing with a cutout opening (for example, a cleavage cutout, navel cutout, or heart cutout), which has criss-crossing laces, strings, or ribbons.

Do not confuse with cross-laced slit. A cutout is a hole or opening that is closed at both ends, while a slit is open at one end.
